Nicky at Lincs Education Consultancy is my ‘go to’ professional when I need bespoke support for a pupil, or training for a group of staff.  We have worked with her for over 5 years now and her levels of professionalism, knowledge and expertise are impressive.   Working alongside her promotes reflection upon our practice and is invaluable in terms of school improvement for both pupils and staff.  When providing advice and strategies for staff to enhance provision, or provide support plans for our most vulnerable pupils, Nicky is thorough in getting to know individual children.  She will challenge your thinking but also demonstrate a real investment in the children she is working with.  Her deep knowledge and understanding of child development and emotional/behavioural difficulties, ensures that she is effective in her delivery and impact.

Nicky has worked with our school for the last 3 years on a range of projects and has helped us to evaluate, review and develop  behaviour management strategies  which reflect our school’s ethos, vision and values .Nicky has worked with the SLT and the staff team and has become a valued critical friend who is not afraid to challenge our school. Her expertise and approach has been invaluable and is welcomed by all the staff. She continues to work with us as we develop whole school strategies and provision for our most vulnerable children.

Nicky’s support and guidance in embedding a Behaviour for Learning approach throughout our school has had a real impact on children’s positive behaviour. Staff are now more confident to use a language of learning to talk to and engage with children which, as a result, has significantly improved the way we challenge children’s behaviour and then model our high expectations.
